I recently made a pit stop at this roadhouse during a long drive across the outback, and I must say, it was a pleasant surprise! I also took a moment to check out their food options—what a treat! I opted for their classic meat pie, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve had. Flaky crust and juicy filling, just perfect! While waiting for my food, I appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, including the restrooms, which is always a big plus for a road trip. However, I did notice that they could use a bit more seating inside, especially during peak hours—it got a bit crowded when several travelers arrived around the same time. What an awesome find on our trip! This spot was just perfect for a quick refuel and break. The convenience store had an impressive range of snacks and drinks, which was perfect because we were feeling peckish after a long stretch of driving. I was especially thrilled to find some local treats on the shelves, which was a nice touch. The staff members were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us find what we needed. They even recommended a few snacks that turned out to be delicious! I also appreciated the fact that the area was well-maintained, and it felt safe to stretch our legs outside. I did wish they had a few more fresh food options, like sandwiches or wraps, as I was a bit hesitant about the pre-packaged items. Still, I can't fault my overall experience. I’d happily stop here again if I’m ever in the vicinity!

I stopped by this roadhouse after a long drive across the outback, and it was quite the relief to find such a friendly and accommodating spot. The service was quick, and the staff had time for a chat, which made the break feel much more personal. I filled up my tank without any hassle, and while I waited, I took the opportunity to grab a coffee. It was surprisingly decent, which is not something I often say about roadside cafes! The only minor hiccup was that the seating area was a bit cramped during my visit. I had to wait a few minutes before I could find a spot to sit down. It would be great if they could expand that area a bit. But overall, I left with a smile on my face and a revitalised spirit for the rest of my journey. I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're looking for a friendly face and a solid coffee!

I had a quick stop here while driving through, and it turned out to be a great choice! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcomed right away. I filled up on petrol and grabbed a snack from the shop, which had a decent variety. The overall vibe was relaxed, perfect for a moment of respite. They could improve the coffee selection, but all in all, it was a positive experience. I’d definitely recommend it for any weary travellers out there!
